Job Description This person will be responsible for managing various technology projects across business functions and verticals.
The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
Manage multiple projects independently with ability to prioritize based on business needs.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
Develop a detailed project plan in Microsoft Project Planner tool to monitor and track progress
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Should be able to identify gaps in various projects and suggest improvement in order to bring in efficiency in project management and avoid potential failure.
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other stakeholders
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams. Power point presentations and process maps to document needs and perform other related duties as assigned
Key Skills & Experience Proven 6-8 years of working experience in project management in a Global environment with 10 -12 years of overall experience.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong knowledge and working experience of Microsoft Power point, MS Excel. MS Word and Microsoft Project Planner tool
Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management from a support perspective
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification required
Bachelors Degree in technology or MBA with relevant work experience in IT infrastructure.
Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
Excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
